Hey Folks,

Apologies in advance if this post is rambly; I'm pretty frustrated right now.

I have a Microsoft surface pro 4 running 15063.540. I also have a Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter running 1.3.8365

I have had so many reoccurring issues with this device it's outrageous. I'm really frustrated because I really do not want to find myself in a situation where I need to present my screen to colleagues, and can't. I rarely ever have problems with the device not showing up on the "connect to wireless display" screen but I ALWAYS have problems connecting. I legitimately cannot connect to the damn thing the first try. I press connect, it says "connecting..." The pin pops up on the screen after a few moments, but it often never prompts me for the pin! So it just hangs at "connecting...". Rebooting the surface often fixes it but not always. Rebooting my machine, and adding another 2 minutes to my workflow while colleagues could be waiting for me is a big no no.

Has anyone experienced this problem before? Does anyone have a solution?

Or does someone know of a better alternative?

Thanks in advance.

LTT used a display adapter a while ago for an update of their 10 Gamers, 1 CPU rig. Not sure if that would work with a Surface..

Yeah, apparently that's called a Fit-Headless adapter. There is like zero documentation on their website though so I don't even know how it works or if I need to buy 2 or something.

Bad luck mate. You could always look at other places and see what people say about them.
