Yea it has debug leds and when I click the power button all of them flash red for 1 sec only once

You my friend are in luck that means you just need to upgrade the firmware which should be easy to do with any ryzen 7 cpu otherwise you will need to RMA the board and ask them to update it for you. Some bestbuys can update it for a fee.

How do I update the firmware myself if it can't turn on?

I have a 430 watt power supply

I have a 150HP car. Please help.

It would be nice if you'd specify what kind of Power Supply you are talking about.

Manufacturer and Modelname.

Ryzen 3 is NEWER than Ryzen 7 and that MB was never designed to run a Ryzen 3 it does run it but needs a firmware update.

So the firmware makes the whole pc not work nothing turns on any fans except one sec led lights that's it

It's a safety feature to prevent your motherboard from killing the CPU.

they really should have come up with a better method to handle this kind of scenario.

more so because when r7 launched it was already clear that other models will follow.

something like a "safe mode" would have been great where the system will at least let the user go into bios and get shit straight.

or throw a warning like "unsupported CPU detected, try bios update? [update] [cancel]"

I would call MSI first see if they have a repair center nearby if you rather go the Best Buy route first check that they have a working Ryzen 7 and ask them to update it for you call ahead.

Does it really cost 60$ to update firmware wth. I could have bought ryzen 5 with 60$ more tf.
