Why is this happening?

I tested the monitor and graphics card on another computer and they're both working fine

Also bought and tried a new cable

Forgot to mention specs:-

Azrock x58 extreme 3 mobo

8gb ddr3 ram(dk vendor)

Sapphire r9 280 3gb dual x oc

500gb hdd and 128 gig ssd

550 watt psu, don't remember vendor

Did you test a different cable?
