BOSS systems are generally quite average in terms of quality. Not something to write home about lol. They're as far as i'm concerned something that is used if its included in the vehicle or as a placeholder until you can afford something better. I find generally that their older equipment stands out as better then the newer stuff from personal experience.

To me when a amplifier doesn't state the RMS wattage than it probably a good indicator that its not very great. This is an indicator and sure there is always crap and gems, but they usually start getting better around $150 and up. I always like to read reviews / videos from car audio forums first rather than reviews from Amazon. I'm sure it will be better than the basic system in some cars.

 

I think a good place to be is 70W RMS for the doors and like 300W RMS for a sub.

Alright thanks guys i currently have it setup in my room so when i play my games and listen to music and it's working great, well this is my first time using an amp but i'm impressed.

No it isn't. Everything you own with a speaker or headphone output has an amp. This is just the first time it's a thing you can see, rather than something you didn't need to think about.
