Running 32GB of RAM on a Ryzen 7 system

So I have heard that running 4 dimms on ryzen is not recommended. But I have also heard that 16GB sticks don't play nice either. So if this is the case how does one run 32GB of ram on a Ryzen system.

I was thinking of getting 2 more 8gb sticks at 2400MHz for about $129. But I could also try for 2 16gb sticks at 2800 for $348ish. Obviously that's way more than I want do spend on ram but it would be a good chance for an upgrade since I Know ram speed is apparently very important for gaming on ryzen.

Alternatively I could get 2 more 16gb hyper fury sticks to match my current RAM and try to overclock (though ive been quite unsuccessful thus far)

Both will work, is just that you'll have a harder time achieving high speeds, liw latency configurations. But I'm afraid I can't tell which alternative will make it easier, probably you need someone who has tried this.
