Used xeon 1231v3

my friend has a h81 motherboard with standard ddr3, he uses a devils canyon i3 so the question is

for £190 is that xeon a steal?

Not at all. Good processor but for that price I would not say so.

i can't find good used deals on that CPU.

 

was it not very poplular ? i got one new for my brother because it was signigicantly cheaper than the i7 at similar performance. but that was over a year ago and prices have not come down enough since then to buy another one for myself.
