How can I change default app

I accidentally made my printer app the default app to open documents. How can I change this so it opens with google docs? Going to "settings > apps > configure" doesn't work, because there's no app specified for opening documents.

The only way that might work that I can come up with is if you uninstall your printer app, try to open a document, set docs as pefault again and install your printer app again.

Like I said, no idea if that actually works or not.
