Internet Debit Cards!?

Privacy.com is what you're talking about I think.

A couple of weeks ago in someone's video, I saw an Ad, it was a website that lets you make an online debit card to use on the internet, it was like a disposable internet debit card. Anyone know what the website/service is called.

Never heard of that type of service before - and frankly, I would not trust such a service.

If you want to have a disposable "internet card", might I suggest a reloadable Credit Card instead? You'll have significantly better versatility with it, since basically every legit web store supports credit card payment, but hardly any online stores will accept a debit card (unless you link your bank account to something like, say paypal, which means you're actually doing a direct withdrawal, and it still has nothing to do with the debit card itself technically).

Some debit cards are branded w/ a credit card though. For example, mine is a Visa Debit Card. This means I can use my debit card online as a Visa (It's treated and processed like it was a credit card) but it simply withdraws funds the same way a debit purchase would - no credit involved. But even with these, lots of online stores won't accept them.

By looking at the site, it looks like you attach some sort of payment service to the site (Eg: Your bank account, credit card, paypay, whatever they happen to support), and then it creates a virtual credit card (not debit card) to use for each transaction.

Interesting idea. Definitely good for more shady sites that you're just not too sure of. But that's what I use PayPal for already, since they have excellent buyer protections. Still, more options are good.
