OS AND SSDs

Hi evryone !

So, I wanna do an upgrade on my PC by adding an SSD.

The thing is that my OS is on my Hard Drive, so I need to put Windows on the SSd to get an increase in performance, booting time,

How do I do this ?

Best way is to do a fresh install of Windows on the SSD but you can also use cloning software.

The only one I've used is Samsung Data Migration that's included with their SSDs but there's a lot of others available.

You can use Macrium Reflect or Partition Wizard. If your HDD is too large or incapable of being shrunken to the SSD's size, do a clean install.

Cloning/Mirroring an HDD/SSD can be troublesome and not work properly sometimes.

The best things that WILL work is a fresh install of windows on the new SSD.
