M.2 not present

On my MSI Bios 5 shows no M.2 present. I have a Samsung 960 EVO Series - 250GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD  on an MSI Enthusiastic Gaming Intel Z270 DDR4 VR Ready HDMI USB 3 ATX Motherboard (Z270 GAMING M3) 

I7-7700k GTX 1080ti. Does anyone know why the M.2 is not showing? This my first time building a PC.

Wow! that motherboard must be really excited to game!

 

 

try switching the slot mode to NVME. if that doesn't work, try AHCI

also, not really. try just looking around the BIOS.

also make sure it's plugged in right.
