So I have a massive question! I have a new evga 1050ti. Everything was going well. Good install, good set up. Install of shadow play, and all that stuff off of the disk. And most updates off the web. However after a few restarts, no issues. I did a hard reset to update a few things to Windows 7 itself. Since then I have had no luck with getting the gym to recognize either my VGA monitor or my HDMI tv. My board is a Asus M4a79xtd. So... no on board VGA. What should I do to get it restarted or reset.

try re seating the card, take it out and put it back in. if that does not work see if there is dust in the slot and if u can remove it with some air, also try running a eraser [ pencil rubber ] along the gold contacts and put the card back in the pc,

After purchasing proper electronics duster I thoroughly dusted the PCIe slots (primary and secondary) and cleaned the connections with a rubber as you mentioned. I am still not getting any visuals on either my 1050ti or Nvidia 7900gt in either slot.

Both cards fans spin up and adjust speed periodically. If that helps

Sorry I didn't get a notification of your reply. Sounds strange that it's providing visual then sometimes a black screen.  Is all the cables in tight?

Perhaps try a different card if you have a old one laying around to rule out a issue with your mothboard
