Heres my brand new VTX 6950 1GB !

'Right off the bat' as Linus would say is that I noticed how huge the copper heatpipe was petruding out of the cooler! its a monster!

This card is quite noisy at around 35% fan speed, In my package I got driver cd's (which I threw away at the speed of sound)

A molex to 6-pin PCI and other goodies like HDMI adapters.

Running a 1920x1080p NO AA Fullscreen kicks out average 29fps and 31fps max

Battlefield 3 Operation Guilotine Ultra no AA Fullscreen hovering 47-55fps whilst sprinting, as low as 36fps for explosions but never lower. Very fluid, precise graphics

Can say I like a loudy computer - reminds me its still alive and working! The AMD Vision Control Engine software from

Keeps an eye on the temps, never going past 70*C on 35% and thats bearable, on 100% is sounds like a lawnmower but kicks out only 62*C on 99.99% on Furmark :-)

Hope this very very very short review gives you an example of the sheer power of these cards.

More photos in the future, im thinking of starting a thread full of super high resolution images regarding components?

THANKS SO MUCH FOR READING
