Hello, its been a while since ive been here and i kinda forgot/ dont know what to choose for my new computer.

For a long time i've been using this laptop which sucks and slow and im in despreate need of a new one preferably a desktop.

I intend to use this as a content creation machine (as cringy as that may sound, im not a 400 subscribed yt channel.) With this computer I want to Do what I originally did before (web design) as well as make applications,  games, as well as play games and make videos.

I also want the pc to last for at least a year or two. I live in california and shipping cant be a problem. I prefer the source to be from amazon. I also wonder if any of the shelf computers might be good (i already know its a no but im making sure.)

My price range is at around 500 - 800 dollars. Being more expensive is ok but I'd rather it be in that range. I can definetly afford it. Also can I not get xeon's and last gen crap! I'd like it if I can upgrade it in the future without upgrading the motherboard as well.

why so?

3gb vram isn't alot and the 1060 6gb performs better while having more vram.

I couldve guessed that, thanks. I was wondering if I really needed it.

up to you, but the 1060 6gb will last you much longer as a few games are starting to use more than 3gb of vram.

can I use a SanDisk SSD? is there anything wrong with that as well? I remember a problem with limited write and reads but i think thats for any ssd

the ssd plus is very mediocre, you're losing quite abit of performance by saving that few dollars to get a sandisk.
