Great AIO for I7-4790k

Go to solution Solved by Hiitchy,

H100i v2 is more than enough. You could go icy diamond or arctic silver 5, those are usually my go-to's when it comes to overclocking.

I've order my 4790k and I plan on overclocking it a bit but I didn't think my 212 Evo would be able to cool it properly. Should I look into getting an AIO like the H100i V2?

Side Note:

  • What would be a great thermal paste I could buy.

Arctic freezer 240 is a beast that is cheaper than the entire H××× series and outperforms them by a mile.

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

Im using an H105 with a 4790K and performs great. With Thermal Grizzly Kyronaut thermal paste. With heavy loads rarely go over 60c.

Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Corsair H105, Gigabyte x570 Aorus Elite, Corsair Vengeance 32GB 3600MHz, EVGA RTX 3070Ti FTW3, Samsung 850 Pro / WD SN850 / OCZ Trion 150

ASUS MG279Q, Corsair Carbide 275R
