Optane + 2TB HDD or 512gb SSD?

Just wondering if optane is worth...I think the optane with 2tb hdd is worth it because it is much cheaper and has more storage, while having fast speed. Am I wrong?

 

Oh, and if anyone of you recommend me an optane, would it be 16gb or 32gb?

it only speeds up repetitive tasks. The first time you load a file or run a program it will be as slow as the hard drive.

the technology does not interest me, id rather just put all software on SSD and keep multimedia offline on external USB; 240-512GB is affordable.
