Math Sound wave help

So I have a question regarding a sound wave question I have come across.

 

"A sound wave is generated by the 2 partials y1=0.6sin(50πt) and y2=0.6sin(50πt+(1/3)π) such that y=y1+y2"

 

Determine the amplitude, period and frequency of the composite waveform.

Discuss the effects of loudness and frequency in relation to the partials

 

I'm not sure as to how to figure out any of the questions listed so maybe if possible could you please explain how to get to the answer?

You can use the trig identity for sum of sines to condense it into one term.
