Hello there, I am currently in the finale stage of ordering the last parts for my new build and I'm currently stuck between ordering 4L or 5L of coolant. Here's my calculations:

1) 2750mm + 1450mm = 4200mm of tubing (bitspower PETG 12mm OD)

2) CPU cooler (Aquacomputer cuplex kryos next)

3) 2x EKWB 360x60mm rad (specs say 370mL capacity each)

4) 1x EKWB 240x60mm rad (specs say 290mL capacity)

5) Monsoon dual bay reservoir (I have no idea about capacity)

http://www.performance-pcs.com/new-monsoon-series-two-d5-premium-dual-5-25-reservoir-white.html

6) 1x GPU block

7) Bitspower z-multi 100 (specs say 280mL)

CPU: Intel Core i9-10900K  MOBO: ROG MAXIMUS XII FORMULA GPU: 2080ti Hall of Fame 10th anniversary limited edition  PSU: Asus ROG THOR 1200W  COOLER: Optimus foundation black acetal RADS: 3x EKWB CoolStream PE 360  LOOP: EKWB torque HDC fittings / EKWB ZMT 15,9/9,5mm / EKWB CryoFuel Clear MONITOR: Acer predator X34

Unless your doing exceeding long tubing runs 2.5L is enough, but why are you putting in two res units?

If your going for one of the other I would suggest a tube res with seperate pump or combo unit as those can be mounted where they do not readily pass vibrations into the case as bay res units do.

I just grouped all the parts together because the coolant is the same, however its a dual loop setup and the coolant is ordered by 1L capacity so I can't do 0.5 (need to round to superior unit).

Yeah then go for 3L of coolant, if your doing a dual loop though unless your just going for a visual effect it would have more benefit from it being all within the same loop.

You sure about that 3L? I can count like 1.3L from the rads and that little res alone?

The tubing and blocks don't use too much fluid so with the majority of the loop filled at 3L you would have extra on hand.

If I remember correctly: Volume in ml = (diameter * diameter * Pi * Length) /4000 which in this case would be (10mm x 10mm x Pi x 4200mm) / 4000 = 330mL so that would be tubing.

The rads = 370mL + 370mL + 290mL = 1030mL

The reservoirs = 270mL + (Unknown but its size is 15x8.5x6cm = 537 cm2 so worst case scenario 537mL) = 807mL

Blocks = unkown

Total = 2167mL without blocks so I guess you were right with 2.5L

Also that is assuming your not using every last bit of tubing, blocks might be around 100-300mL at most each for CPU and GPU respectively
