Hello, so I've been having an issue with my Mobo/GPU/something hardware related in my new build. All the components are brand new except for the PSU and GPU although the GPU has been used only at most three times.

The issue was that my 1050 ti would not detect my monitor, so I replaced the GPU with my friend's GTX 950 and still no detection. So I went through the entire computer troubleshooting handbook including reseating all the hardware, ram swap/ one slot ram test, pulling the mobo out the case and retesting, and basically everything that didn't require me to soder on the motherboard. I then switched moniters and still no detection from testing both graphics cards using the same motherboard.

At this point I'm really at a loss, the only practical conclusion I can draw is that the mobo is somehow bad although the PCIE is powering the GPU (the fans spin when the mobo powers on) and all the other mobo pins are working too. And possibly the CPU is bad, but I'm pretty sure everything is placed correctly since I've placed a Ryzen CPU before.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for reading all this...

Been through the same kind of hassle with a 1500x and 1050ti lately. What worked for me was disconnecting the powercord > hold down powerbutton for 20 sec. > removed CMOS battery > hold down powerbutton for 20 sec. again > reseat battery > reconnect powercord > wait 30 min or so > power up > got image

my advice?

Get the latest bios from someone else's computer, put it on a USB and stick it in to your PC. Connect the monitor to your MB and boot into bios. Update bios (find the new Bios on the USB) and try connecting the video card then.

Also, try mounting the GPU on the lower 16x pcie slot and see if it outputs a video..

Also, try doing @Wi RoZ 's advice first. Mine might be the last option. Updating the bios and stuff.. (which you should totaly do btw anyways but if you can get a video output with any other method, maybe don't prioritize this one)

I am currently experiencing the same issue as you man, I've tried all of the things that you have and still no monitor display, from what I have heard is that it is something to do with ram compatibility and than the mobo needs a bios update, I'm using Ryzen 5 1600, 750ti GPU and Asus prime B350 plus. if you find a solution it would be great if you could let me know!
