PC does not recognize phone

Hey everyone, my PC is not recognizing my phone, it charges but does not show up if I try to acess it. It gives me a error in the device manager. "A request for the USB device descriptor failed."

I've tried different ports, pc's and usb cables.

A message should come up on your phone to allow the computer to access the phone's files. Do you have your notifications disabled?

Nothing shows up, it never showed a message but I do have notifications turned on

This is nothing to do with ports, It's most likely your phone and I would suggest you go to Android Central to get it sorted out.
