Need a New CPU

I've had my  PC for about 3 and a half years now but it oddly just kicked the bucket, It had  an AMD A10-5800K APU, 8gb DDR3-1600,

and it wont boot at all. I've Tried Everything. So i need a new CPU, Mobo ect. And i would like to go team blue cause i have a friend at Intel so i can get CPU at a good price

i like to play games (@ 1080p) and video, editing any suggestions.

Intel is shit at the moment (and probably will be), if you have cooling system of a nuclear plant you can wait for 8700K. I would get Ryzen 5 1600 + Asus Strix B350-F + G.Skill Flare-X 3200MHz 16GB kit.

Agreed. Go Ryzen, or budget intel. 

 

That socket that you have is dead, so you shouldn't invest any more money into it.
