Fan Layout Recommendations?

Go to solution Solved by LogicalDrm,

I'd say just put it rear exhaust. 2 front intake and that as exhaust will be enough.

Side question: Why is GPU at bottom PCIe slot? It won't gain anything from there and might even run bit hotter since there isn't direct airflow towards it.

Rad on top. Slightly better because hot air goes up.

Intake from the front is alright too.

Irrelevant inside PC case.

Hey Everyone,

My brother is putting together his new PC. We're looking for recommendations to what our best fan layout is for cooling. He has a Corsair 230T case which has 2 fan slots on the front, 2 on top and 1 at the rear. The big question we have regarding layout is where best to put the rad/fan for his Corsair H80? Top or back?

My thoughts were 2 intake at the front and 2 output at the top with the rad/fan on that back pulling air in?  What do you all think? Would appreciate any thoughts.

Thanks
