Laptop fans problems

ravy

Ok guys I have another problem

so my fan decided to make really weird noise for some reasons I try to open it up and clean the fan and stuff but didn't seem to workout so my question to u guys is

can u use my cooling pad to replace my laptop fan for a short term till my laptop fan comes?

As u saw the picture down below I can take that fan out cos it's doesn't really hook on to anything important it's only there to push air out of that coppers colour stuff

thanks

Nooooo I would not take out the fan. Your computer WILL overheat without it, even with the cooling pad.

these fans are designed to push air through a heatsink with more presure than you might think. a coolingpad is optimized for airflow and not pressure.

There will be nearly no airflow inside your laptop when using a coolingpad.

It can work if you heavily throttle the cpu. My laptop needs the fan only when the temperatures rise above 60°C which happens when I open programs for the most part.
