If you're OC'ing for the purpose of mining, sure.

but other than that, no.

 

mining isn't rendering any graphics, so some parts of your GPU aren't used as much, or are used more.

Ex. ethereum mining is almost all memory-based (AFAIK), so maybe your GPU core won't get stressed as much in some places, which might prove to be unstable if you run something like unigine heaven/valley/superposition.
