Minecraft 1.7.2 LAN doesn't work.

Hi guys!

I want to play in a LAN world with a friend of mine (He's here so where on the same network) but when one of us enables LAN the world doesn't show up in the multiplayer menu.

I have enables uPnP on my router and when i check Minecraft port forwards though uPnP. I also turned Firewall of on both computers but still doesn't work?

Help please?

Thanks

I'm using 1.7.2 LAN with no issues.  It is pretty straight forward and vanilla setup...

Some computers are on OS X and others on WIN7 with no special firewall exceptions specific to minecraft on any of the machines (OS firewalls are turned on).  ie, we didn't touch or change firewall settings to get it to work.

We didn't need to touch any settings on our router.  ie. No port forwarding on the router for minecraft ports.  upnp is disabled on the router.

try disabling upnp

Also check that your antivirus doesn't have it's own firewall or filter that may be blocking the port/connections.
