but I was wondering if I should go with a 980ti for 499 CAD or vega 56 if it stays normal price?

if you want to oc the chip, might want to add in a cpu cooler, but the standard one isn't terrible anymore so up to you, as for the GPU, I honestly don't know enough about vega atm to be happy giving you an answer on it, sorry

Get a different ssd, other than that looks ok.

 

If you find a 56 with Aftermarket cooler for same price as 980 ti go for it.

The Wraith Spire is an extrememly capable cooler. It can handle OCs up to and including 3.4GHz, as far as I've seen.

yeah well the 980 ti is refurbished and i trust new egg but as far as CAD prices go its really good and apperently 400$ off right now from 800 so its a deal but I will wait for vega 56 to see if it sells at a good price but if not ill start buying. Thanks!

ive never had an ssd i dont care the quality i just trust the brand and i just want it for windows

Definitely more than that. Close to 3.6 (maybe 3.7)

Wow. 3.4 is just what I've seen on PCPP in people's builds. If that's the case, then I can't wait for my 1700

Well with the 1700 it's more like 3.4-3.5. 1600 is better with stock since it runs cooler and has same cooler

True, true. Perhaps I confused the 1700's overclock with the 1600's earlier.
