Computer making tapping noises

Ever since I put a new PSU in my system yesterday, it has been making tapping noises. I know it is not the HDD, what could it be?

Microphone won't pick it up. It's like the sounds "click" and "tap" had a baby almost (Can't think of a better way to describe it.) Happens about 5 times a second, some loud some soft, in no particular pattern.

What's your mains voltage?

 

Is the UPS plugged into a UPS or line conditioner?

 

Is your outlet grounded?

if you can try checking the voltages in your system. one of you components may be shorting making the power supply's resettable fuse trip. ensure no wires are shorted against the case, open contacts and no contact between 2 boards that may share connections. then try restarting the computer. if that docent work see if the power supply may have loose wires. if you can look into the power supply without opening it there also may be a wire or foreign objects and dust (FOD) inside the power supply itself. if none of these work, you may have a faulty power supply and may need to return it.
