Hi all new here.

I'm looking at putting together new PC soon & I'm looking for some suggestions for a gaming focused build.

Here are some ideas I had about a year ago for my next build but the list is not covering everything just mobo, cpu, ram & a new case I'm unsure how to finish this build with what is currently available & within a budget:

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/hBGYjX

I usually order all my parts from scan.co.uk to get them all delivered in 1 package https://www.scan.co.uk/

My budget is at £900 maybe able to push that to £1k not 100% on that just yet though.

Also to add I'm thinking of 1 ssd for OS & a 2nd for gaming & a HDD for storage & music & films etc.

I will also need a monitor to go with this build but for now I'm just looking to decide on parts then a monitor to go with it when I save some more money for it.

My current build:

CPU: i5 3450 @ 3.10ghz

GPU: ASUS Strix gtx 970

RAM: 16GB Corsair vengence @1600

MOBO: MSI Z77A g45

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Green 1TB

SSD: Crucial BX100 250gb

PSU: Seagate 620watt M12 II Bronze Evo edition

I can play most games on my current build at around medium settings @60fps such as Battlefield 4, planetside 2, empyrion galatic survival & dayz.

I'm looking forward to replies & suggestions thanks.

I'm buying in the UK btw.
