Adobe or Corel???

I want to render and edit 4K videos and edit high quality photos. I have always used Corel’s VideoStudio & PaintShop Pro ultimate edition softwares. But with higher quality 4K Blackmagic capture and playback cards. Would I be better using Adobe software for more professional projects???

I would classify this as "your skills are more important". Adobe costs a lot, which is a downside, but it does offer a hell of a lot. Corel does much of the same. I would grab a trial of Adobe to find out if it's worth your investment.

Thanks. I’ll give software a try but thinking Corel is better bang for the buck since they almost identical features. Just wasn’t sure if adobe supposed more formats that made it worth the extra costs. Thanks so much

I think Adobe does offer more formats, but most of the time when editing for work, I'm asked for non-Adobe containers.

It's subscription-based now, but it used to cost ~$1000 for the whole package. Adobe just wants to kill itself off with what they're charging (not saying that the package isn't good, because it isn't, I'm just not saying it's bad).

Seriously, try it out and determine after the trial.

I'm pro-Corel, especially since Corel still sells software instead of just renting it.
