Heat problem

Go to solution Solved by Chikorita,

Hmm I suppose nobody got an answer for this topic.. I'll have to troubleshoot myself until I manage to fix it

Hi Everyone.. :D

I'm trying to play a game "Elder Scrolls Online" and checked that my CPU was running hot, good thing I opened up Core Temp too check my temps in this game... it actually spiked up to 93 degress!!!!

I immediately exit the game and everything before I do any damage to my CPU with this insane questionable heat which is confusing me :/

The first setup I had was a i5 4690k OC to 4.5Ghz and the temps were round about 60-70 Degress (when playing Elder Scrolls Online)

After awhile of using this CPU for more then 4 years or less (can't remember) I decided to upgrade to a newer "better" CPU

I'm still using the same CPU Cooler I had with my i5 4690k  (H110i GTX 140mm) with 2x (nf-a14-industrialppc-3000-pwm fans) on my new i7 6700k.

Also if this help, my i7 6700k is OC to 4.6 GHz with 1.325 Volts

idle temps are at 35 Degrees

Playing less intense games such as League of Legends, temps are at 50 Degrees.

Delid it, its classic Shintel. It isnt made by people with brain like AMD, so between the die is peanut butter instead of solder.

Don't buy Apple M1 computers with 8GB of RAM
