Hey guys so i got a second hand PSU for my PC upgrade and how do i find out if the psu is faulty or not because my motherboard recently got short circuited in a repair shop and they blame it on my psu but i've used the psu on the motherboard for a good day or two. Since i'm a pretty big noob at this i'd want to find out if my PSU is really the component at fault here before buying another motherboard and getting it shorted as well

Thanks for helping out

Load Tester like a Chroma or for the cheapskates a Sunmoon SM-8800 or you build something like that yourself.

Osciloscope, like the Rigol 1054Z

That's around 3000 bucks...

Those PSU Load Testers for 20 bucks or so are pretty much garbage...
