So yesterday, I spilled some wine on my Victop Mechanical keyboard, Proceeded to slurp the wine off my desk, Wipe my mouse and mouse pad and For some reason I left the keyboard, Im assuming my thaught proccess was "Its advertised as water resistant to it'l be ok" So I left it, Went to sleep ect ect, The next morning my freind procceded to tell me the T key wasnt working, Then realised the whole keyboard wasnt working. Still being rather intoxicated, I shook it hit the bottom and all was good. Later on, After some more sleep I ran it under the tap and gave it a clean, again water resistant. Then came the problem Im facing now, After giving it a dry and plugging it in I got nothing. Tried it again except this time it said "USB Device not recognized", Saying that it had malfuntioned. After a few more times of inserting it it fianlly worked. Ive had to restard my pc twice for another reason. Both times the keyboard starts up dead, and with a few more attempts, Diffrent usb ports ect ect it finally bursts to life. Does anyone know what is wrong with it? Any fixes? Or is the keyboard busted? I really dont want to go back to my old membrane keyboard if I can prevent it.

Sorry for the long post, Thanks.

Take it apart and thoroughly dry it. I'm also glad to know that I'm not the only one that slurps spilled drinks off surfaces.

Im pretty scared to do it, But I might as well not much to lose. Thanks.

Just take off the casing and keycaps, and wipe down the PCB, maybe even using some rubbing alcohol.
