Hey so my friend wants to know what gpu to get for his brother's old pc that he used for graphic design.

 

  • The specs are    i7-3370k @ 3.5GHz
  • 8GB of ram
  • Psu is (no idea right now, he has to check will update)
  • Windows 64bit (if that even matters) 

 

He doesnt know how much to spend but he manly wants to play overwatch, CSGO, And be able to try other games as he choses so he doesn't need a beast pc 

 

Edit; he also wants to record for his youtube

He can only spend around €250 (ireland)  but he manly wants to play overwatch, CSGO, And be able to try other games as he choses so he doesn't need a beast pc

I'd say at least get a 1060 or 580 if you can find one priced decently. But that might be a little hard. I wouldn't really suggest the 1050ti though if you're wanting to do some recording.

How much is his max spend? If by "any game he chooses" meaning any game in the market right now, slap it on at high settings on 1080p then this GTX 1060 is fine.

Too expensive? Then a GTX 1050ti is still good for most games with a few tweaks here and there
