Basically, I think it all looks OK but I am not sure I trust myself fully with £500 of my friends money... Does it all look alright? Work ok? 

 

Also, is there any better parts you know of, for the same price? (He cannot stretch any higher)

If youre using it for gaming grab another 4GB stick of ram.

Use PCPartPicker, it will tell you where you can get the parts the cheapest and save you money. Buying everything from one retailer normally costs more.

Hmm, ok. I will have a look at that! I guess I didn't with this build cos I didn't when I built mine...

looks good but you could try to find a 7850 or 7870 if it fits budget, they are crazy cheap now

Did try stretching to that, but not quite enough. I have a 7850, they are great little overclockers.
