Vehicle Inventory Management program

Ok, so I am in search of an inventory management program that i can use to track inventory at a car lot. I would like to be able to use the existing vin #'s and bar-codes on the vehicles to log them in to a file database that can be accessed through both in windows and in ios by multiple people at a time.I would also like to be able to track the inventory to know if a vehicle is on the car lot or is in the shop for maintenance or if it is out for a test drive with a client. If possible i would also like to be able to scan the bar codes or enter the vin #'s on an ios based app that car pull up info on the product and item quantity. I know the best bet would be to make the software myself or hire someone with more experience to do it for me but i was curious to see if there was anything out there that would work for me. Any help or suggestions are very much appreciated.
