High CPU use

Today when I turned on my computer I realized it was feeling to get sluggish. This surprises me because I have a ryzen 7 1700 at3.85 ghz, 16gbs corsair rgb at 2997, and a gtx 1060. Not super op but not slow. When I opened task manager it was saying my CPU was pinned at 98% usage. Idk what I should do I've tried disabling all start up apps, disabling super fetch and restarting multiple times.

What program was pinning it at 100%?

If all else doesn’t work, you can always do a fresh windows install, sounds like you have a lot of background tasks, or some malware

It reports what ever program is open, when looking at task manager (clicking into it) TM is pinning it if I click on chrome. Chrome pins it

If nothing is fixed, have TM sort tasks in order of usage and end the tasks that are maxing you out. That or send a screenshot to us
