Testing AMD card in Nvidia system

So  I just got a 270x from ebay and i dont have the other parts for the system im gonna put it in yet, i want to just drop it into another system to make sure the card isnt dead, can i put the 270x in my other system with a gtx 1070 or will the drivers fuck each other.

You can use DDU to uninstall the drivers before switching out the 1070

It shouldn't matter. The nvidia drivers are shouldn't interact with the card. Just install the new one and download AMD drivers.

I have drivers for my iGPU, AMD card, AND my Nvidia card all running at the same time, and the only programs that tend to get mad at me are Vegas (which I don't even use anymore) and Premiere.

It shouldn't matter, in any case, use DDU (Driver Uninstall Utility) as someone mentioned above.

The drivers won't conflict. I've seen people running a system with both AMD and Nvidia drivers installed without issue. Linus ran a kicks n giggles system that had both CFX and SLI in it at the same time.

 Also, I ran a GeForce 9500GT for PhysX in my old rig along side my HD5970 for over a year and didn't see any issue. You should be ok to run a 270 and a 1070 at the same time.
