GTS 450 bottleneck

I am building a dirt cheap pc and was wondering if there would be any bottlenecks with the gts 450 and the Core 2 Quad q6600. (yes i know both are bad)

in that tier of hardware, you shouldnt be worried about bottlenecks, because your experience will be mediocre either way, and you most likely wont have budget for much more.

buddy i know my situation, i just wanted to know what would be the first to bottleneck

I would say you're GPU-bottlenecked there. Might be another story if it was a GTX 460.

my answer to you is that you shouldnt be worried about it.

 

just get your hands on what you can, and work with what you have. i'm guessing in that budget you're not quite aiming for the latest and greatest games either, so the answer to where to expect the limiting factor to be will depend on the kind of games you play as well.
