System restore doesn't generally sort issues like this out in a way that will be reliable in the long-term. trust my experience with that.

 

Can you pull the USB stick out of the PC, try boot windows, and take a picture of the error that occurs. (it should look somewhat like the picture I posted earlier, if you are running win 8 or win 10.
