So I've got a setup, and I wanna see what you guys think about this.

MSI B350 Tamahawk,

8 (2x4) GB 2400 MHz DDR4 RAM,

Ryzen 5 1600 6-core(12 threads) 3.2 - 3.6 GHz

+Stock Cpu Cooler

EVGA GTX 1050 TI

WD 250 GB M.2 SSD

Be Quiet! 140mm 1000RPM case fans

Corsair CX550Watt Bronze+ PSU

Thermaltake View 31 case

Estimated total on Newegg, including the tax and shipping: ~$975

Is there anything wrong with this setup?I don't prefer AMD over Intel but lots of techtubers are saying thet the Ryzen 3 and 5 are slightly better for preformance per dollar than the i3 and i5.

4GB of ram seems quite limiting

and you would barely need 430W PSU 500W to be safe with upgrades

Primary System

  • CPU
    Ryzen R6 5700X
  • Motherboard
    MSI B350M mortar arctic
  • RAM
    32GB Corsair RGB 3600MT/s CAS18
  • GPU
    Zotac RTX 3070 OC
  • Case
    kind of a mess
  • Storage
    WD black NVMe SSD 500GB & 1TB samsung Sata ssd & x 1TB WD blue & x 3TB Seagate
  • PSU
    corsair RM750X white
  • Display(s)
    1440p 21:9 100Hz

Mainly just gaming,108 to 1440p 60 fps hopefully.I doubt that I'll be video editing unless it's for a grade for school.

Total budget, includng tax and shipping should be under $1000 USD. Maybe a little flex,$50 or so. I'm in the U.S.
