Weird Display Problem

So I recently received some new PC parts. The computer had been working fine, until randomly, my monitor started to display no signal. After troubleshooting, I found out that I will receive a display output when drives are all unplugged. However, I can't access Windows without them. Also, when the drives are plugged in, besides no display, the HDD activity light is constantly on. What could this mean?
