Winload.exe Is Missing Or Corrupt

themctipers

That is the bluescreen that happens when I try to boot into Windows 10.

Specs are in my signature, OS is installed on 850 Evo.

Tried:

bootrec /fixmbr (successfully executed, doesn't fix)

bootrec /fixboot (successfully executed, doesn't fix)

bootrec /rebuildbcd (detects one install, C:\, but when I add the installation to the boot list it says the requested system device cannot be found)

I have tried different sata cables and different sata ports on my motherboard ...

Secure Boot is off.

How did I mess this up? Tried to put my 760 into my system, replacing my 1070. Windows doesn't like booting up when a new GPU is installed.

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

I can't remember how, but I think there may be a way to boot into Command Prompt before Windows boots and you can run chkdsk from there.

Changing the GPU should at best cause no issues and at worst make you reinstall drivers.  This can't possibly be related.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
