Need new headphones

hey guys today my hyper x cloud 2 broke so i am looking for new headphone for gaming. i already have mod mic so just headphones is fine. the budget i'm going for is around 100 - 150$ Canadian. 

 

so far i have 2 headphones that I've looked into

should i get one of these 2? which one? or tell me if you have another suggestion

Well the Cloud do not compare as far as sound quality goes to the headphones he has picked here. Gaming headsets never sound good compared to regular headphones of the same price.

wait these are open back do you have any recommendation for closed back headphones?

Oh I assumed you were fine with opens. Both of the headphones you originally asked about are open. There is a version of the 598s that are closed.

A lot of people like open backs for gaming because they tend to give you more of a special surround soundstage which can give you more awareness of your surroundings.

yes but i have a lot of background noise so i wouldn't be able to hear much
