yes, go into Task Manager and "set affinity" on the process*.  If you have SMT/HT, set it to the last box and the third last (ie one unchecked between them), if you do not have HT/SMT set it to the last two boxes.

* you'll have to do this for every process though, and as you open new tabs, those will need to be set as well, so rather impractical imo.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

you might be better off just setting the game to a high priority rather than restricting chrome - since the game is one process it would be a lot easier.

I can't imagine that would make a noticeable difference, but in theory you could plug in a second GPU with a second screen attached to it, and if chrome was on that monitor it would render on that GPU.  You could also do the same with an iGPU on certain chipsets, if applicable.

It's possible playing the video isn't hurting performance enough for it to make a noticeable difference.

oh, hm, well, have you tried the priority trick?  I maintain that that's your best bet
