Need Help!

I am using an Aspire F (Model: F5-573-55LV)

I was disappointed by the gaming capabilities of the laptop and wanted to swap out the CPU from an i5 7200u to something i7 based, I have a budget of maybe £100-£120 (130$-156$) and wanted some help selecting a CPU that will run games like CS:GO and GMod at a high FPS.

So your GPU is running at 100% during gameplay? Because I do have some questions about just swapping CPU's, and get better gaming performance in a craptop...

well...it can technically be upgraded, but the cost would be well above the price of a new laptop, plus you would risk bricking the laptop

I used to have an craptop, which had a mini socket, which would allow me to remove the CPU. Maybe he has a craptop like that too, where stuff isn't soldered.

That laptop has no dedicated gpu so you'll have a hard time getting high fps, considering any cpu that will fit in that board most likely has the same integrated graphics as your current cpu.

i5  7200u is a BGA (ball grid array) chip.....definitely soldered

Also, if not possible is there perhaps some other way to improve FPS through gaining new hardware like buying new ram?

Okay then, what about instead of using this, improving my Chillblast Fusion Spartacus, what could I do there to make it better because it is struggling to run games like CS:GO now.

What could I do to it with maybe £200 so it runs games much better?
