so i'm looking to stream games/record games/game on my future pc, and i would like to do that on 1080p high or ultra settings and 60+ fps, even when streaming.

while i was getting a Ryzen 7 1700 that has 8 cores and 3.0ghz base clock and a gtx 1050 ti, alot told me not to do that and to just downgrade to a ryzen 1600 and get a better gpu,

so i found a deal, if i sacrifice my ssd(rip ssd) i could get to ryzen 5 1600 that has 6 cores and 3.2ghz base clock while also getting the famous gigabyte gtx 1060 AORUS 6GB OC, but as i said, im gonna have to sacrifice my ssd and downgrade from ryzen 1700 to ryzen 1600, what are you thoughts? and what do you recommend me to do?

All at the same time?

Who the hell told you to shy away from a 1700?

The downgrade you would take by abandoning the ssd will affect performance in a lot more than just games. Personally I would never make the tradeoff for less CPU and no SSD for a very slightly better GPU. The usability of the OS, other programs and games too will benefit from the SSD, so losing it will probably more than offset any benefit you would gain from a 1060. I would keep the SSD and potentially keep the higher end CPU to handle your multitasking needs. The 1060 isn't worth it for your use case.

will the 1050 ti be able to handle 60+ fps on most games with high or ultra settings and 1080p? (i will ofc slightly overclock it)

Yep, what games in particular?

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

Just to give you another thought,  miners are going to start dumping 1060s, 1070s and rx 480/580s dirt cheap.

about that.. i live in israel, parts are like so expensive, so even on dumps, it will almost affect nothing in the price, ive seen this happen when miners start dumping, but israel prices they just dont change.. fml

well, im gonna probably be streaming overwatch(which im sure that it can be done with 60 fps and 1080p etc..) and pubg(which im not sure since i never played it) these are the 2 games for now, might do battlefield 1, so these 3 games, because gonna probably upgrade to 1080 the next year.

Overwatch can go around 150-250 fps depending on settings, pubg should run around 50-60 on medium settings and Bf1 the same.

How is the recent patch with more cores being used treating you?
