Hello, i recently built a pc with EVGA GTX 1050Ti Sc in it. It was working just fine, until i opened my Msi afterburner one day. Gpu was running at full clock.

There are no programs in the background, completely idle pc, single 1080p monitor, but still running at full clock. I tried updating the drivers, no luck. downgraded and updated the drivers again, it fixed itself for 1 day, then it was running at full clock again. I don't really mind it much, but temps are 10C higher than previously.

I searched all over the internet, but could't find an answer.

If you had any similar experience or know how to fix it, please help

reinstall drivers

if not, do an rma

In the Nvidia control panel, under 3D settings, there's a setting called "Power Mangement" (Mine is in danish so not sure what the exact translation is). Change it to adaptive, that worked for me.

Tried it couple of times, didn't work, downloading older drivers now.
