Adding a physical keyboard to my phone??

Legolessed

I know this is weird but just as a fun project I want to make a case for my Blu r1 hd that is a physical keyboard case. A friend of mine has a 3d printer so for the body I'll model something for that but for the physical keyboard there's a few options. My first thought was to make my own keyboard because I would be able to precisely size Everything but then I saw these. They are only $11 on they are pretty close to the right size. Any suggestions or other ideas?

One question-why would you ever want a physical keyboard for your phone?  The only exception to that are BlackBerry phones.

I guess you could make a 3D printed case.  It wouldn't be very hard.  What program are you using?

I don't see why not.  It looks usable, and the bezels are just big enough to where you could make the case go around the edges.

Alright. I may take out the battery and power it via usb to make it thinner as well. Hmmm. I think this will work though xD

Could I use the keyboard from an old fliphone or no?

Doubt it.  I wouldn't anyway, it would be a pain in the butt to disassemble correctly, and there is no guarantee it will work.
