If you went for the MXL 770 then you'll need an interface as well, so for simplicity go for the NT USB. The mics are fairly comparable so neither is particularly better than the other.

 

If you mean music (vocal/instrument) recording then you might want an interface anyway, as you can use it to record electric instruments directly.
