Hello. I have i3 2100 and i have problem with thermal throttling but the weird thing is i have a new cooler that keeps my CPU cores temp around 55 with is lower than recomended 69 and much lower than TJ max of 105c. But even weirder thing is that CPU temp reaches it despite cores being extremely nice temps. What would be the problem here? And i am certain its CPU throttle since i checked tons of programs and noticed my core speed going from 3.1 to 1.5.

But do not worry much since i am buying today ryzen 5 1600 but i would get mobo next moth (since i dont have budged to buy both now and ryzen is flying off the shelf like crazy) so i still need my pc to survive up until next month :)

This sentence doesn't make much sense.

Anyway, since it's a new cooler, did you apply enough thermal paste? Take it off and see if the paste spread correctly or just reseat the cooler. Simple and worth a try I think.

Yes, i did.And yes, that is weird also to me since my core temps are really nice and low and CPU temp is through the roof. I googled it but results are always core temp high CPU temp low. The only reasonable explanation i can give to my self that sensor is damaged or dead so it constantly increases temp (but it lowers it when idle). Or i could have bad airflow or what not for heat to be stuck somewhere inside (i doubt it since i cable managed and i have intake and outtake fans)

Ah you meant the sensor for total CPU temp is much higher than the individual core temps. Those shouldn't be too different I think. Perhaps a borked sensor indeed? Airflow is probably fine unless you have glass everywhere.

The only glass i have is on the one side so you can see everything inside :P I really have no idea what it can be except sensor is broken. Perhaps someone else will know something we dont.
