Is a 75hz monitor the reason why im getting low fps on csgo

Specs are:

I'm averaging around 80 fps on csgo on low settings and i have no idea why, i've seen videos with a GTX 1070 on csgo and they get like 200+ on max settings

Make sure its using the GPU and not the igp on the kabylake chip. Also check to see if vsync or other issues in settings are on or off.

it just means you FPS is capped at 75fps, the HZ is he amount of FPS a monitor can display (Eg. a 100hz monitor can display 100FPS)

The Hertz on a monitor describes basically how many frames the monitor is capable of showing in a second, so your monitor can show 75 frames a second, unlike the much more common 60 hz, or 60 FPS. So the monitor accepts as many frames as the GPU gives it, whether it's 30 or 180, but it can only show a max of 75 FPS. I don't see any reason in your specs why you should be getting frame drops, so I suggest checking task manager and MSI afterburner to see which is maxed out, and fix accordingly.

I would check to see if you have vsync on or check to see if you have your monitor plugged into your gpu and not your motherboard.

And you know you have your monitor plugged into your gpu rather than your motherboard? Because that seems like integrated gpu level of performance. Otherwise if you do have it hooked up to your gpu correctly maybe it's a driver issue.

Yea its plugged into my gpu

display driver uninstaller ddu. Search that and you should find the program. It will allow you to uninstall your video drivers and then you can reinstall them

Then I'm out of ideas. Honestly I would look at your gpu and cpu usage and see if there is anything funny going on.
